Meet Jesus Cora “Zeus” Cruz, Aalberts surface technologies-accurate brazing’s Production Manager – Vacuum for the Goffstown, NH division.
Zeus is a long-time employee in Goffstown. Part of the team for 21 years, he has performed many roles during his tenure at Accurate Brazing. He started cleaning and blasting parts. He moved to torch brazing, performed leak and pressure testing and assembly & prep. Zeus eventually became a furnace operator. In 2006, he was promoted to shop foreman and responsible for heat treat jobs on all three shifts. Today, he holds the same position, but with an updated title. Continuing to oversee and schedule the heat treat jobs to optimize furnace and turn time, he says one of the biggest challenges is getting all the work done in a timely manner for the customers.
Zeus also says one of the best pieces of advice he received is, “You will fail before you succeed.” Aalberts entrepreneurial culture directly reflects this in the statement: “We believe that greatness demands more than ingenuity and failure is a valuable stop on the way to success. Sharing and discussing ‘bad’ get us to ‘brilliant’.” Zeus operates in this spirit and delivers excellence every day.
He currently resides in Weare, NH which is quite a distance from his hometown of Ponce, Puerto Rico. When not at work, you might find Zeus spending time with family. He also enjoys cheering on the NY Yankees, woodworking, and customizing his car.
